Bring Tableau dashboards to Condens

The Tableau integration makes it easy to reference large amounts of quantitative data and embed published dashboards in Condens Artifacts and more.

By embedding Tableau dashboards in Condens, your Stakeholders get an automatically updating view of your dashboard.

Search results in Condens don’t include embedded Tableau dashboards.

Follow these steps to embed a published Tableau dashboard in any Artifact, Session or Project description:

In Tableau Public

To embed your dashboards in Condens, you have to save the workbook with your dashboard to Tableau Public first. You can read more about this step here.

  1. Open the dashboard page in Tableau Public.

  2. Click Share.

  3. Click Copy Link.

In Condens

  1. Select Embed Website or app and search for Tableau:

    • In any editor (eg. in a Session, text Artifact, Project description, etc.) use the next to an empty line or type ‘/’ and search for Tableau or select Embed website or app.

    • In any Whiteboard Artifact, click (...) the left menu bar, search for Tableau or select Embed website or app and place it on the Whiteboard. 

  2. Paste the link in the respective field on the Tableau element.
