Bring Airtable views and bases to Condens

The Airtable integration makes it easy to reference and embed your research database from Airtable in Condens Artifacts and more.

By embedding Airtable views or bases in Condens, your Stakeholders get an automatically updating preview of your view or base from Airtable.

Search results in Condens don’t include embedded Airtable views or bases.

Embed Airtable view

If you embed a specific view of a table within a base instead of the entire base, the hidden records in this view will not be seen.

Follow these steps to embed a view from Airtable in any Artifact, Session or Project description:

In Airtable

  1. Open the Airtable base with your preferred view.

  2. Click Share view.

  3. Go to Link settings to change access permissions (optional).

  4. Click Copy link.

In Condens

  1. Select Embed Website or app and search for Airtable:

    • In any editor (eg. in a Session, text Artifact, Project description, etc.) use the next to an empty line or type ‘/’ and search for Airtable or select Embed website or app.

    • In any Whiteboard Artifact, click (...) the left menu bar, search for Airtable or select Embed website or app and place it on the Whiteboard.

  2. Paste the link in the respective field on the Airtable element.

Embed Airtable base with all records

If you want to embed an entire base from Airtable, you have to make it publicly available.

Follow these steps to embed a view from Airtable in any Artifact, Session or Project description:

In Airtable

  1. Open your Airtable base.

  2. Click Share.

  3. Choose the Share publicly tab.

  4. Toggle on the Enable shared base link (read-only) button, and you will see access permission control options.

  5. Change access permissions if needed (optional).

  6. Copy the link by clicking on it.

In Condens

  1. Select Embed Website or app and search for Airtable:

    • In any editor (eg. in a Session, text Artifact, Project description, etc.) use the next to an empty line or type ‘/’ and search for Airtable or select Embed website or app.

    • In any Whiteboard Artifact, click (...) the left menu bar, search for Airtable or select Embed website or app and place it on the Whiteboard.

  2. Paste the link in the respective field on the Airtable element.
