Figma Make

Figma Make lets you build apps and prototypes using AI. With the Condens MCP Server, you can connect Figma Make to your Condens workspace. This lets you bring your actual user research directly into your design workflow, so your AI-generated designs are grounded in real user feedback.

This feature is available in the enterprise subscription plan.

Before you start:

  • Check out how the Condens MCP Server works and what it enables.

  • Creating custom connectors in Figma Make is available on paid plans, and requires a Full seat with edit access to the file. Learn more

Step 1: Enable the MCP connection with Figma Make

First, a Condens Admin configures the client and sets access permissions. This is a one-time workspace-level setup.

In Condens, an Admin needs to:

  1. Go to Settings > Account > API & MCP Server.

  2. Add a new MCP client.

  3. Fill out the following details:

    1. Client name: Figma Make

    2. Description: Bring user feedback from Condens into your design workflow (or add your own description)

    3. Redirect URIs: https://www.figma.com/oauth/mcp/callback

  4. Specify which roles, users, or user groups this integration is available for.

  5. Optionally, add setup instructions for your colleagues on how to authorize the connection for their individual accounts. You can copy the steps in the following section or write your own.

  6. Once saved, the Figma Make MCP will appear in Integrations for the users specified in step 4. They will then need to individually authorize the connection for their accounts.

Note: The toggle next to Figma Make in Integrations shows the connection status, not something you need to enable manually. If it's off, it means the authorization in Figma hasn't been completed yet. Once a user completes the steps below, the toggle will turn on automatically for them.

Step 2: Authorize the connection on a user-level

As the final step, each user needs to individually connect the MCP client to their Condens account.

To do so, go to Figma Make and:

  1. Click the + button and select Connectors.

  2. Click + Create connector.

  3. Fill out the name, and optionally add an icon, tagline, and description. Once done, click Next.

  4. Enter the MCP server URL.

  5. Click Create.

  6. Click Connect.

  7. You will be redirected to Condens to authorize the connection. Click Continue.

  8. If the connection was successful, you'll get a confirmation.

  9. Go back to Figma Make and start using your new connection. Type @Condens followed by your question or prompt.
